Toros-Group has been in business since 2000, so they have more than seventeen years of selling medical braces. The Toros-Group Comfort Posture Corrector is a back support brace designed for general use, as well as to help kyphosis, lordosis, kyphoscoliosis, and winged scapula.

The company also recommends it for recovery after either an injury or surgery on the spine or clavicle (collar bone). It is intended to prevent curvature of the spine.

It offers six different sizes to help customers get the most comfortable fit. They recommend using their size chart as the product doesn’t use standard US sizing. The sizes range from XS to XXL to fit a 23.5″ to 47.5″ waist.

Read on to find out why this brace is one of the best we have tested for posture.

Features

The back brace is adjustable and has lumbar pads for comfort. Both the shoulders and the waist can be adjusted. The brace is intended to be worn directly on the skin or with a cotton undershirt, but due to its bulk, it’s not ideal for wearing under clothes, making it best to wear at home.

The brace is cotton and elastic, with Velcro fastenings. It also has metal for support in the structure of the brace. Many people who have reviewed it say that it’s very comfortable to wear, although it could make you warm to wear it during hotter weather.

I ordered the Large size because my waist is almost 38”, and this was the recommended size. I was looking forward to using a full upper torso wrap because I’d never tried a brace that has so much torso support. When it arrived, I put it on, but the brace was too small for me. I couldn’t get it close to stretching around my stomach, and I needed at least 4-6 more inches. So, I went ahead and asked for an exchange.

I asked about getting a refund because of a sizing issue, and they allowed it and emailed me a prepaid shipping label. I did get a refund for the original one in a few days, and I had to order another one in the bigger size (XX-Large).

Get the Correct Size

The larger size fits much better. Putting on the brace is easy, and I do it by myself, with the simple straps. I can also tighten it by myself to maximum tightness.

I decided to wear it at home for about half an hour on minimal tightness, and that worked great. I put it on the second time and wore it while driving.

Wear Over Clothing

I wore it under clothes during this session, but there were bulges sticking out, so it was still noticeable. I had great posture support, though, so it was positive overall.

The torso support on this brace doubles as a back support for heavy lifting and work around the house. Overall, this brace is a good quality brace, and it does not come loose. It is highly reviewed and has good ratings, which is why I chose to try it. It provides 100% rigid posture support and is comfortable.

Pros

  • Good support – the posture feels firm and can be adjusted to fit well.
  • Easy to put on – no help needed to get it on and pull the waist and shoulder straps tight.
  • High quality – good quality for the price.
  • Torso support doubles as a lower back brace.
  • Swift refund and replacement from the seller.

Cons

  • Can’t wear it under clothes.
  • Bulky-it makes you look bigger and could make moving around slightly more difficult.
  • Getting the right size is a bit more complicated than it needs to be. Straps will hang down in front of you if the brace is too large.

The Toros-Group Comfort Posture Corrector offers an great option for posture correction and back support. It’s one of the top posture braces we have tried. It’s also a good idea to keep the sizing in mind and order a size up from what you think you need.
